Ljusgarda AB, located in Tibro, Sweden, is said to have converted an old local factory into a 7,000-square-metre indoor controlled environment factory with an annual capacity of 1,000 tons of food. By using hydroponic vertical planting method, coupled with efficient LED lighting, crops can achieve year-round growth without the need for pesticides.

Andreas Wilhelmsson, chief executive of Ljusgarda, says the company's goal is to provide customers with delicious and high-quality vegetables. During crop cultivation, no pesticide is needed and water consumption is low, which is 100% of the renewable energy. Moreover, in view of the fact that crops are produced locally, long-term transportation and emissions can be avoided.

Plant growth lights can play a key role in planting crops under controlled conditions. Heliospectra's plant growth lights can play a key role. Using this long lamp, growers can adjust different spectra to meet the growth needs of different crops. Because of bad weather conditions, achieving high-quality and High-yielding throughout the year is a challenge for Sweden, and Ljusgarda can create the best environment to speed up crop harvest and increase high-quality production throughout the year.

According to official sources, Heliospectra will be shipped in the third quarter of 2018 and the fourth quarter.
