According to foreign media reports, the United States in New York City, Syracuse (Syracuse) officials approved the cost of new LED street lights. The Snow City Council unanimously approved a loan of $38 million for overhaul.
Officials say $15 million will be used for new LED lights, while the remaining funds will be used for repairs and other services.
LED lights will help snow cities save about $3 million a year, and LED lights will also reduce greenhouse gases, officials said.
The mayor, Ben Walsh, said the project was a "very good investment" for the city's taxpayers. Because LED bulbs have the advantages of reducing energy consumption, relatively low maintenance frequency, and long service life, in recent years, many cities in the United States to promote the plan, the high-pressure na lamps, mercury lamps and other traditional bulbs, converted into LED bulbs.
