Goyal was speaking at a memorandum signing ceremony for India Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) and three state-owned oil marketing companies (OMCS).

According to Goyal, the new partnership between EESL and three OMC will be a major factor in India's 100%-dependent LED lighting.

The new partnership allows consumers to buy 70 rupees (about 7.3 yuan) for high-quality 9W LED bulbs, 220 rupees (about 23 yuan) to buy 20W LED lamps, 1,200 rupees (about 125 yuan) to buy five-star ceiling fans.

To date, under the "Ujala" project, India has distributed more than 255 million rupees of LED bulbs, more than 306,000 LED lamps and 1.15 energy-saving fans.

According to the Indian Ministry of Electric Power estimates, the project annual energy Saving 334 Billion-kilowatt, the cumulative reduction of consumer costs of 133.46 billion rupees.
